Founded more than twenty years ago by Kristina Scala and Lynda Sailor, Aspen has earned national recognition for reimagining independent school education through its Leadership, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship (LiFE) curriculum, a student enterprise programme (Bear’s Student Enterprises) and a student-centred educational model that develops both academic excellence and leadership capacity.

Funding the future of education
As Aspen joins ISP, the Aspen Endowment has been created.
The Aspen Endowment is an independent charitable organisation dedicated to advancing innovative education, youth leadership, and entrepreneurial development through scholarships, grants, and educational innovation.
The Aspen Endowment will begin with an initial sum of approximately $38 million, with additional scheduled funding anticipated over the coming years, ensuring the fund remains dedicated to education for generations to come.
Aspen Academy joins ISP LabSchools
Aspen Academy has also been selected as an international ISP LabSchool, recognising the school’s longstanding leadership in innovation and entrepreneurship.
As an international ISP LabSchool, Aspen Academy will help pilot emerging educational practices, contribute its nationally recognised expertise in leadership education and entrepreneurship, and collaborate with leading educators worldwide to shape the future of teaching and learning.
