We are delighted to announce that Woodside School in Punta del Este, Uruguay, has joined International Schools Partnership (ISP). This milestone marks ISP’s first school in Uruguay and strengthens our growing presence across Latin America.
Founded in 1998, Woodside is one of the most established international schools in the region, known for its academic excellence, bilingual education, and close-knit community. Its founders play an integral role in the school’s leadership and will continue to do so as the school joins ISP.
The school educates nearly 1,000 students from Early Years through to pre-university, offering a dual curriculum that combines the Uruguayan national programme with Cambridge and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
As part of ISP, Woodside will build on these strengths while benefitting from a global learning system designed to continuously improve teaching and student outcomes. Through ISP’s Learning.First™ approach, teachers are supported to deliver purposeful, personalised learning, enabling every student to make consistent, measurable progress.
ISP will also enhance Woodside’s bilingual model through its multilingual framework, helping students access the full curriculum with greater confidence and achieve stronger outcomes. Students will gain access to international learning opportunities across the ISP network, as well as personalised guidance through the Future Pathways programme.
