Lorena Cruz Carrillo
Head of School
Lorena Cruz brings 17 years of experience in education, dedicating her career to the holistic development of children by combining a passion for teaching with a strong academic background.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s degree in Psychopedagogy from the International University of La Rioja, and additional certifications in Psychoeducational Care and Innovation, as well as Well-being and Research.
She began her journey with ITJ in 2008 as a K2 Homeroom Teacher at ITJ Palomar. In 2014, she became Kindergarten Director at ITJ Valle Real, and in 2019, she was appointed Associate Director. Since 2024, Lorena has served as General Director at ITJ Zona Esmeralda, where she contributes her expertise, dedication, and warmth to the school community.
Deeply passionate about child development, she is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while fostering strong connections with families, making her a trusted partner in every child’s educational journey.
