We are a private British school for students between 2 – 18 years old.
We welcome children from over 50 countries to our school and put a special focus on learning in English thanks to our native teachers.
At St. George, we believe in bringing out the best of each student and giving them the tools they need to shine in school and beyond.
Our IB Diploma Programme for 17- and 18-year-olds is taught in English and gives these students unique access to Spanish and international

Mr. Paul Crouch
Paul Crouch was appointed Headteacher of St. George Madrid in August 2025. With over 25 years of experience in international education, Mr Crouch is deeply committed to creating a nurturing, dynamic, and academically rigorous environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential. His background in global citizenship education, developed through work in both international and British systems across multiple countries, is second to none and underpins his vision for preparing young people to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Before taking on his current role, Mr Crouch served as Whole School Deputy Head in three large schools across Thailand, the UK and Spain, where he gained wide-ranging leadership experience and a deep understanding of diverse educational contexts. In addition, he has been a trustee on the Board of Round Square for a number of years, championing the values of internationalism, democracy, environmentalism, adventure, leadership and service. At St. George Madrid, he is proud to lead a community that values academic achievement, creativity, wellbeing, and global citizenship in equal measure.
