Judy Dempsey
Founder and Principal
Judy Dempsey, Founder and Principal of Summit-Questa Montessori School, has devoted over 40 years to Montessori education. Recipient of the Distinguished Educator Award (2016–2017), she is recognised for her leadership in whole-child development and authentic Montessori practice. Since acquiring the school in 1991, Judy has expanded Summit-Questa into a thriving Toddler–8th Grade community, enriched by nature, the arts, and hands-on learning. She also established its accredited Montessori teacher training center, preparing future educators with the same passion and care she brings to her students. Judy remains dedicated to nurturing confident, capable young leaders who love learning.
