Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park (Tenby SEP) has become the first school in Asia to achieve “Mastering” status in the International Schools Partnership’s Learning Improvement Process (LIP). This recognition highlights the school’s unwavering commitment to cultivating an exceptional learning environment that empowers students to thrive.

What is the LIP?

The LIP is a rigorous evaluation framework designed by ISP to enhance school performance across nine key areas. Achieving “Mastering” signifies a school’s exceptional dedication to continuous improvement and transformative learning. This distinction is awarded following a comprehensive on-site review conducted by experienced leaders, educators, and accreditors.

  • Academic Excellence: Tenby SEP has consistently demonstrated exceptional academic outcomes, leveraging ISP’s unique approach to evidence-based learning. Their students have consistently outperformed national and global averages on all three major exams for the past three years.
    Cambridge A Level 50% of all grades awarded were an A* or A in 2023. IGCSE entries attain 83% at an A*-B grade. SPM consistently score significantly above the Malaysia GPA Average (4.6) with 2.44 in 2023.
  • Strong Community Engagement: Parents and students are actively involved in the learning process and contribute significantly to shaping the school’s vision. This collaborative approach fosters a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
