Whistleblowing

Whistleblowing

International Schools Partnership (“ISP”) is committed to the highest standards of honesty, integrity and transparency, and follows a zero-tolerance approach to breaches of the standards set out in our Code of Conduct. We recognise the value of accountability in our management practices and fully support the right of individuals to report suspected wrongdoing.

Whistleblowing is the reporting of suspected wrongdoing, such as illegal, unethical or improper conduct, or risks to the safety of students or staff that affects others or the wider organisation. A concern may be raised by anyone, including employees, agency staff, contractors, volunteers, parents and members of the public.

This channel should be used to report a concern that:

  • comprises the physical, emotional or sexual abuse of students or staff; or
  • is unlawful, such as theft, bribery or fraud; or
  • constitutes a failure to comply with a legal or regulatory requirement; or
  • endangers an individual’s health and safety; or
  • risks or damages the environment; or
  • is contrary to ISP’s financial regulations or policies; or
  • conceals wrongdoing; or
  • is a miscarriage of justice; or
  • amounts to improper conduct.

Concerns should be raised as early as possible, however minor they may appear.

Whistleblowing is different from a complaint or grievance, which arises where an individual considers that they have personally been treated poorly or is dissatisfied with a service they have received. Complaints from parents should be raised under the relevant school complaints procedure, and workplace complaints or grievances under the relevant regional employee grievance or complaints procedure. General or operational enquiries should be directed to info@ispschools.com.

Whistleblowing concerns can be submitted anonymously and/or in confidence using the form below. The identity of any individual raising a concern will be kept confidential, and that individual will be protected against victimisation, provided the matter is reported in good faith.
